My teaching experience spans eight-and-a-half years. During that time, I have taught classes to freshmen and to majors, young adults and adult learners, face-to-face and online.
The bulk of my teaching happened at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, where I taught Writing, Literature, and Film courses, and at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE. At NWU, I started teaching writing and literature classes to undergraduates and then moved to teaching online literature courses to adult learners enrolled in the Wesleyan Advantage program.
As a PhD student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, I transitioned to teaching Education courses that specialized in Instructional Technology and the Learner-Centered Classroom.
